The lovely pool area is a real highlight—often not crowded, it creates a relaxing vibe, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The family rooms are spacious and come equipped with essential kitchen amenities for a comfortable stay, which is a plus for families looking to self-cater.
The breakfast left much to be desired with limited options. the selection included only sweet cakes and one type of ham without fresh juices or yogurt. while the rooms offer generous space, they show some wear and tear and could benefit from a few upgrades. A sewage smell coming from the bathroom also detracted from the overall experience, and the cleaning could use more attention to detail.

Charming family-run haven
The Katerina Apartments offer a fantastic location in Kalymnos Town, just a short walk from the port. Yiannis and Ramona, who run the place, create an inviting atmosphere, making every guest feel at home. The pool area is a serene escape, with clean surroundings and comfortable sunbeds. Breakfast is simply delightful, providing a nice start to each day. I especially enjoyed evenings by the pool, in a tranquil setting where I often found only a few guests around.
It would be great to see the bathrooms receiving some enhancements, as they showed signs of wear. this didn’t overshadow my overall experience.

A relaxing gem with exceptional hospitality
Just returned from an unforgettable stay where the pool area was our little haven, often enjoying it all to ourselves. Ramona and her team created the warmest atmosphere, even saving our late-night check-in after the ferry ride. The apartment was spacious and tidy, perfect for relaxing after daily island explorations. The only drawback was that breakfast could use a bit more variety, but it definitely got us started each day!
